Jesus (Y’shua)

Posted on July 27, 2024July 28, 2024 by Admin

Refers to the Messiah of Israel. Jesus was named after Joshua (in Old Testament Hebrew: Yahusha or Yahushua). Yeshua is a popularized name with uncertain connection to the name Joshua. Y’shua is a rough abbreviation for all of these names and is used to cause less division. [Look Up Joshua on BibleWords]
